Instructor Armisey Smith will introduce students to contemporary artist Jean-Michel. Basquiat was a prolific artist who struggled throughout his young life and used his art as the ultimate method of expression. The idea is that art can express life's beautiful and not-so-beautiful parts. Students will learn the elements of mono-printing, design, and storytelling.
